The Center for Academic Planning and Support (CAPS) can assist you in achieving academic success by providing the following services:
- Support through the Admissions process and Orientation to services and the college
- Counseling on maintaining status, SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) , taxes, employment eligibility, health insurance, travel
- Placement testing and referral for ESL (English for Speakers of other Languages)

Au Pairs at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×
Au pairs can earn required hours in several ways at º£½ÇÂÒÂ×, either as a non-matriculated student or as a community member.
Options include:
- Enroll in the 1-credit course FYE101 (First Year Seminar). This makes the au pair an official º£½ÇÂÒÂ× student who can then take advantage of all activities and services at the college. At the current tuition rate, the daytime sections cost $540, and the evening or online sections cost $240.00.
- Enroll in a 3-credit evening (after 5:00 PM) or an online course of your choosing for a cost of $720. There may be added expenses for books and materials depending upon which course is selected. Accuplacer testing may be needed as a prerequisite for certain English and math classes.
